The Grass Roots – “Leaving It All Behind”

These guys had many transformations starting with basically a group of studio guys. At one point in their career they were the largest box office draw in the country. These guys had hit-after-hit-after-hit. Wait A Million Years, Heaven Knows are probably their most noticeable hits. It’s extremely nice to sit back and listen to good melodies, no over-played solos and just good solid music. This album was actually recorded in 1969 and they used what we all used to use…Standel amps. Name outta the past for you gearheads. Even Clapton used one. Go get this cd, listen and enjoy…it’ll bring back some memories and let you just listen to the music instead of having to be a part of it. ENJOY!!!!
