Escape From Earth "Three Seconds East" Review
By: Dennis M. Kelly
7/17/04

Excellent CD, perfectly produced, an impressive first effort

Hard hitting music with melodic vocals, Escape From Earth’s “Three Seconds East” EP has a great alternative styled sound that will appeal to a broad range of listeners. Whether you’re into heavy “in your face” music or vocals that are radio ready and easy to sing to, I feel you will thoroughly enjoy this CD. From the first second the music starts all the way through the end, Escape From Earth has put together a great alternative CD.

Their CD cover ranks as my # 1 pick for best cover of any local band I’ve seen to date. Created by Don Dixon (www.cosmographica.com), it’s a powerful and disturbing image yet the colors are sharp, vibrant and eye catching.

“Three Seconds East” is one of those CD’s that is very
hard to pick out favorite songs, but the strongest
tracks to me at “Yesterday,” “One Thing or Another” and Never Hear.

The only thing wrong with the CD is of course that the five tracks
on this CD are not enough however it is a perfect
EP that leaves you anxiously waiting for their first full length album.
