LINCOLNWOOD CHAMBER ORCHESTRA AT NORTH PARK UNIVERSITY
Philip Simmons and the Lincolnwood Chamber Orchestra will present "Mendelssohn 200th Anniversary Celebration" on Sunday, January 10
th at 3:00pm, in Anderson Chapel, North Park University in Chicago. International concert artists David Yonan (violin) and Christine Yoshikawa (piano) will join the orchestra in a performance of the seldom performed Mendelssohn's Double Concerto for Violin and Piano in D minor. Other works include Canzonetta, Op. 12, String Symphony No. 10 in B Minor, and a premiere of a work for violin and piano by Mendelssohn. Tickets: $25/$15/$10 students with ID.The concert will be followed by a coffee and dessert reception and a dinner for donors of the "Chicago-Berlin Young Musicians Exchange Initiative".
