Jonathan Steinmeier is a 2001 graduate of the Wheaton Conservatory of Music with a B.Mus. Composition degree and years of experience as a composer, teacher, and performer in Chicago. Jon’s Chicago debut was scoring and performing in Redmoon Theater’s production of “Deciphering Moonshadows” in 2000. |
Since then Jon has played piano, keyboards, bass, and drums for many bands and artists, including Mavis Staples, Bobby Conn, The Detholz, and Paris Delane, and Mucca Pazza, and has written and arranged works for television, theater, independent film, and music education. |

is excited to be in his 6th year teaching private music lessons
in Chicago, and to be busy writing new music, including a Song
a Week project that he started in January of 2007, at www.jonsteinmeier.com.
